In line with the GKN Integrated Loss Prevention
Policy, Unidrive Pty Ltd recognises its moral and legal responsibility, under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, to "provide and maintain so far as is practicable for employees a working
environment that is safe and without risks to health".
This commitment extends to ensuring that the Company's operations do not place contractors, visitors and the local community at risk of injury or illness. To meet these obligations Unidrive Pty Ltd will:

- comply with applicable legislation, regulations and standards;
- manage hazards and their associated risk
by implementing an occupational health and safety management system to identify, assess and control occupational health and safety risks; and to review performance;
- consult openly with employees,
contractors, visitors and the local community about occupational health and safety in the workplace;
- provide information, instruction, training
and supervision to employees, contractors and visitors to ensure their safety, the observance of safety requirements and to develop a culture of responsibility and accountability;
- seek continuous improvement in its
occupational health and safety performance by involving all levels of employees in regularly monitoring and reviewing all objectives and targets in relation to occupational health and safety;
- strive to reduce the number of incidents
and injuries through the effective management of its occupational health and safety system.
